Also visit the summer palace of erstwhile maharajas of Ladakh - Shey Palace, Thiksey monastery (housed with 100 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha) and Hemis Monastery (the largest monastery in Ladakh). Today early morning after breakfast at Camp, later proceed for day excursion to Turtuk Village – small, scenic & last village in Ladakh near LOC. The landscape, culture, language, clothing, and even the physical features of people change quite drastically crossing over into Turtuk, technically entering Baltistan region. After finish your visit to Turruk Village, later drive back to Nubra Valley for night stay. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Morning before breakfast visit the Diskit Monastery to attend the morning prayers along with Monks. Later drive back to your camp for breakfast and spend some time with leisure activties.
