Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong and Lingkana Palace, was strategically built at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel in 1637. Also visit Talo monastery and Nalanda Buddhist Institute to meet with the Buddhist monks and enjoy the fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. After finish your guided tour to Punakha, later free for shopping or drive back to your hotel for night stay.

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed to visit the centre of the Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) where you will learn about the vulnerable black-necked cranes who fly to Bhutan each winter. The RSPN has taken extra precautions to conserve these wonderful guests as well as 13 other vulnerable species because the Phobjika valley is home to more of them than any other region of the country. Read informative displays on the cranes’ habitat and behaviour, and use the centre’s spotting-scopes to search for cranes in the valley. Wild cranes are only visible during the winter months, but if you visit outside of this time, you may still observe black-necked cranes being rehabilitated at the centre. You can also take a two-hour walk around the valley to learn about the flora and fauna that live in this magnificent area. Start off from a hilltop overlooking Gangtey Goemba, wander down through flower meadows and beautiful forests, passing by a chorten, the village of Semchubara and the Khewang Lhakhang temple.

Also visit the Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress where Bhutanese deterred several invasions by Tibetan army. Also visit the famous Paro Taktsang a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site located in the cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan. Evening, pay a visit to the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan.
